Notice of Race
KYCN - WSKLuM Saturday 17th september 2005
Nieuwpoort Racing Week-End
The regatta is open to all IRC measured yachts
START
- The start of the “Vandevelde Race” is foreseen on Saturday as from 10.00 hrs,
followed by the “Albert Jonnart Race”.
REGISTRATION
- Friday 16th September from 19h00 till 22h00 in both clubs,
Saturday 17th September from 0800 hrs till 09h00 in the KYCN.
ENTRY FEE
- 25 € against the deliverance of the Sailing Instructions.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
- The Sailing Instructions will be handed over during the entry inscriptions, only upon presentation
of a valid up to date rating certificate.
RACE COURSE AREA
- In the Nieuwpoort area using Charts D11 Vlaamse Banken or Admiralty chart C 30 or KMDH 1801.
SAFETY
- Off Shore Racing Council, Safety Regulations, category 4 will apply.
NONE STARTING OR ABANDONING YACHTS
- Will report immediately to the Race Committee on VHF 72 or phone to the Race Office.
PRIZES
- The trophy “Albert Jonnart” will be issued for the best yacht in corrected time
in IRC 1 & 2.
- The trophy “G. Vandevelde” will be issued for the best yacht in corrected time
in IRC 3 & 4.
- A special prize or the “City of Nieuwpoort" will be issued for the best yacht
in corrected time in IRC 5 & 6.
PRIZE GIVING
- As soon as possible after the finish of all the day races in the WSKLuM Club House.
