Nieuwpoort Sailing Week-end 2008
|
The regattas are opened to all IRC and CR measured yachts
START
- The start of the “Gilbert Van De Velde Race” is foreseen on Saturday 20th September
as from 14.00 hrs.
- The start of the "Albert Jonnart Race" is foreseen on Sunday 21th September
as from 10.30 hrs.
REGISTRATION
- Friday 19th September from 18.00 hrs till 22.00 hrs in the KYCN Race Office.
- Saturday 20th September from 08.00 hrs till 11.00 hrs in the KYCN Race Office.
- Sunday 21th September from 08.00 hrs till 09.00 hrs in the WSKLuM .
ENTRY FEE
- 25 € /day against the deliverance of the Sailing Instructions.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
- The Sailing Instructions will be handed over during the entry inscriptions,
only upon presentation of a valid up-to-date rating certificate.
RACE COURSE AREA
- In the Nieuwpoort area using Charts D11 Vl. Banken or Admiralty chart C 30
COURSES
- The courses to be sailed will be costal courses of 10 - 20 NM or
Windward Leeward courses of about 5 NM.
SCORING
- Both races will be scored according IRC time to time system.
- The low point scoring system of App A will be applied without discard
for the ONZK Nieuwpoort Sailing Week End.
SAFETY
- Offshore Racing Council, Safety Regulations, category 4 will apply.
NONE STARTING OR ABANDONING YACHTS
- Will report immediately to the Race Committee on VHF 77.
PRIZES
- One prize for the three first yachts in each class.
- A souvenir will be given to each competitor.
PRIZE GIVING
- As soon as possible after the finish of all the day races + drink.
- Ch. Gilbert Van De Velde : Saturday 20th Sept. in the KYCN (foreseen at 19.00 hrs)
- Ch. Albert Jonnart : Sunday 21th Sept. in the WSKLum (foreseen at 16.00 hrs)
SOCIAL EVENT
- NZK Buffet wil be held in the KYCN Club house on Saturday 20th Sept. at 20.00 hrs
- Price : 20 €
