After the necessary experience on the spaarbekken, our young sailors head out to sea. The KYCN Sailing Academy has 9 two-man boats available: 5 RS Feva and 4 Laser Vago.
In addition to rigging up, launching and manoeuvring the boat as a team, the youngsters learn how to take account of currents, what to do if you capsize, what measures to take against hypothermia and so on. This is done under the guidance of certified instructors who follow them at sea in a motorboat.
If you would like to learn the tricks of the trade, sign up for one of the cadetships! Our base for the sea courses is the classroom of the Sailing Academy at the Krommehoek. We start every day at 9.00 and end at 17.00.

J80Sport keelboat
As part of the KYCN Sailing Academy, courses are organised on J80. This is a seaworthy one-man class boat which is sailed by 4 to 5 people.
If you would like to learn the tricks of the trade, sign up for one of the training courses! Our base for the sea courses is the Sailing Academy premises at the Krommehoek.
We start every day at 9AM and end at 5PM.
